Once again it’s off day and something’s cooking in QB’s
kitchen.
This time, I decided to try making chocolate bread buns.
This is modified from recipe I found online. (http://allrecipes.com/recipe/23284/french-bread-rolls-to-die-for/)
Recipe for this chocolate chip bread buns is as follows
Ingredients:
340ml warm water
510g plain flour
1 tablespoon yeast
2 tablespoon sugar
Method: 510g plain flour
1 tablespoon yeast
2 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup of chocolate chips (as much or as little as you like)
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup of chocolate chips (as much or as little as you like)
- Mix the warm water, yeast and sugar
- To the mixture, add in the rest of the ingredients. Stir in the flour slowly until the dough has pulled away from the sides of the bowl. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover with damp cloth and let it rise for about 1 hr.
- Preheat oven to 200 degree C, Divide into small balls of dough and bake for about 20min, until golden brown.
Now you see it
Now you don't!
And when you see it again, it's all risen.
Tada! Bread fresh from the oven.
