Happy Birthday WB2!

It’s WB2’s birthday. Since he has started going to childcare, we thought we will do a birthday celebration at school for him too, which is what most, if not all his classmates do. For gifts, we have prepared cartoon hand held balloons. The Beez Family spent quite some time the night before inflating them. And boy did they fill the car booth:

As per schedule, we arrived right after WB2’s nap time. WB2 does not like to be disturbed in his sleep. Much less to be woken up! So, we arrived to meet a grouchy birthday Bee, with a “DO NOT DISTURB” sign written all over his face. So ok. we’ll leave him alone while we prepare the set up.

Meanwhile, WB3 is having none of the issues that WB2 has. In fact, as the saying goes, he’s as busy as the bee! It’s the first time he has been inside of a school and he has always dreamed of being a big Bee going to school. And now that he has finally his foot inside, he is wasting no time at all exploring. And there he goes:

Cha cha cha~~ Toys, here I come!

Paper plates (for the birthday cake) were given out and the 2 Little Beez got a wear a Birthday Crown. WB2 was getting accustomed but still unhappy while WB3 was feeling purposeful.

Crowned with the birthday band and armed with the empty paper plate, WB3 does not waste time hanging around but continues his exploration.

After the cake cutting, it’s time to distribute the gifts. In addition to the balloon, we have also prepared small pencil case for each student. While WB2 was occupied with the distribution, WB3 steals one away and runs off triumphally.

There he is, walking away with his steal!

WB3, somehow managed to get his hand on BOTH the pencil case AND the balloon, pointing to familiar numbers that he knows
