WB3 the Karung Guni Man

In case some of you is unfamiliar with this term, let me just do a very brief introduction. A “Karung Guni Man”, very loosely translated into good old English, is the Rubbish Collector.

Yes. WB3 is a self-declared “Karung Guni Man”. Under the pretext of being a helpful boy, he collect whatever rubbish we have to throw them into the bin. And seconds later, we will find him rampaging through the bin. On good days he’ll leave it at that. Otherwise, on his more “hardworking” days, he’ll literally overturn the bin, hunting for some treasure known only to himself. Totally beats the rest of us what he is doing. He’ll finger through every little piece of the discarded, as if trying to weight the value of each tissue or scrap paper. If he finally concludes its worthlessness, he’ll fling away. And if it’s a treasure, he’ll take it and hold it triumphally around the house. Here’s snapshots of him caught in the act:

Like an old man, he sometimes needs some support when walking to his target, the bin. No joke. It has probably been a long day for him hunting for rubbish. The hours that he has spent filing around the house. And finally! He spots the bin! The place where rubbish is collected.

His hand reaches for it.

His hand reaches deeper and deeper in…

The hand-consuming bin engulfs his whole limp.

Finally his tired legs give way. The dead weight of his bum pulls him to the floor and the contents of the “treasure chest” lays all bare in front of him, at his mercy.

Seriously. Little Boys these days. Or perhaps it’s a sign of how desperate the family is, that we need to plough through the bins to see what we can savage. A sign which only he reads while the rest of us are oblivious to.
