Beez in the Garden

It was a warm sunny morning and the beez family flew to where bees go. To the gardens of course! Yes, the beez family headed to Gardens by the Bay to ‘get closer to the flowers’. We arrived at around 9.30am, before the Domes open at 10am. Thought we were early so went to grab breakfast at Macs. But it was already packed. By the time we reached the end of the long queue and got our breakfast, it almost 1hr later.

We decide to hurry to the more popular Flower Dome first, before the peak of the crowd comes. Here’s some flowers from the dome.

Another couple of pretty flowers. The natural color combination really makes it beautiful

After that we headed to the Cloud Forest. Greeted by the iconic water fall at the entrance:

WB2 had a good time wandering around. Like seriously wondering around.
Not sure where this boy is heading to. We just got in and he's heading to the entrance again??

Even while our hands were tied with WB3, (changing, feeding him), WB2 still managed to entertain himself.

So much so that he’s just soooo tickled. Not sure what the joke was about though.
WB2 totally bending over, laughing at his own private joke.

Nearer to the exit of the Domes therein lies the nursing room. It’s a pit stop for us to freshen up a bit. WB3 too, is finally let out of the carrier and his feet are finally allowed to touch the ground (read: allowed to walk about on his own).

WB3 looking down to make sure that his feet is indeed touching the ground.

Overall I think the boys enjoyed themselves. We spent half a day there, which is enough for us. No food allowed in the domes, so it’s also about time to go outside for a meal.

Tip: Aim to go there early, around 10am when the Domes open. Otherwise the place will be too crowded and also car parking is limited. Do bring along sweaters too especially for little ones as some parts of the Domes can be quite chilly.
